The CK6140X1000 CNC Lathe is a high-rigidity flat bed turning machine built for precision shaft, sleeve and disc parts up to 1000 mm between centers. It swings 400 mm over the bed and 220 mm over the tool post, on 360 mm wide hardened guideways. X axis stroke is 250 mm and Z axis stroke 900 mm, with rapid traverse of 5 m/min in X and 8 m/min in Z.
The CK6140X1000 CNC Lathe is a high-rigidity flat bed turning machine built for precision shaft, sleeve and disc parts in small-to-medium batch production. It swings 400 mm over the bed and 220 mm over the tool post, and with 1000 mm between centers it takes medium and longer workpieces that a shorter lathe cannot hold in one clamping. The carriage travels 250 mm in X and 900 mm in Z with rapid traverse of 5 m/min and 8 m/min, so idle time between cuts stays short even on longer shafts. The machine completes external turning, internal machining, facing, grooving and threading in a single setup, which removes both handling time and datum error from the part.
The CK6140X1000 is built on a high-rigidity, one-piece flat bed casting with 360 mm wide guideways that keep the machine stiff under interrupted and continuous cuts alike. That rigidity is what allows the lathe to hold its accuracy over a full shift rather than only on a warm-up test piece, and it is also what keeps chatter out of longer shaft work where the overhang is greatest. The ways are hardened and ground, so the sliding surfaces stay accurate after years of production instead of developing the soft spots that show up as taper in the workpiece. A rigid bed plus a wide guideway also means deeper cuts at the same spindle load, which shortens the production cycle on medium-sized parts.
The machine pairs a high-performance spindle with precision ball screws and hardened guideways on both feed axes. The result is high positioning accuracy, low-friction motion and a repeatable cut, held to a repeatability of 0.012 mm in X and 0.013 mm in Z. In production that shows up as a tighter dimensional spread on shafts, sleeves, flanges and threaded parts, and as a lower scrap rate across a shift. Because the CK6140X1000 performs external turning, internal machining, facing, grooving and threading without re-clamping, every operation removed from the route is also a datum error removed from the workpiece. The rigid structure also absorbs the vibration that comes with interrupted cuts on castings and forged blanks.
The CK6140X1000 is delivered with an electric turret for fast, repeatable tool changes, which keeps non-productive time low on parts that need several tools. A hydraulic chuck can be specified for higher clamping force and shorter cycle times, and an automatic bar feeder can be fitted so the lathe keeps producing without an operator loading each workpiece. An automatic chip conveyor is available to clear chips continuously on long runs. The machine can therefore start as a stand-alone lathe for repair and general machining work and later be grown into a lightly automated cell without being replaced. Control system and tooling configuration are selected to match the workpiece and the production task.
The CK6140X1000 is widely used in automotive components, machinery manufacturing, hardware processing, construction machinery, hydraulic equipment, instrumentation and mould accessories. With 1000 mm between centers and a 400 mm swing over bed it handles shafts, sleeves, bushings, flanges, discs, gear shafts, threaded parts and connectors that a compact lathe cannot reach in one clamping. It machines carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloys and copper alloys across general turning, threading and related flat bed CNC processes. The actual application depends on the workpiece material, size and machining requirements.

The CK6140X1000 sits where a compact lathe runs out of both swing and bed length. It combines a 400 mm swing over bed, a 220 mm turning diameter on the tool post and 1000 mm between centers with X and Z strokes of 250 mm and 900 mm and rapid traverse of 5/8 m/min, then adds hydraulic chuck, automatic chip conveyor and bar feeder options so it can keep running unattended. The 2350 × 1400 × 1800 mm footprint keeps it inside a normal workshop bay. Overseas after-sales service and CE certified machines are provided.
